Melanie D. Holtz is a Board-certified genealogist, lecturer, and writer who specializes in Italian and forensic research. She has extensive experience in helping clients with their Italian American dual citizenship applications. Melanie is certified through the Board for Certifications of Genealogists, where her work was reviewed by several of the field's leading genealogists and determined to meet genealogical standards.
She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of Professional Genealogists, as Chair on the Professional Development Committee, and Vice-President for the NC Chapter.
She is a member of the Triangle Order Sons of Italy, the National Genealogical Society, the Association of Italian American Women, the National Association of Professional Women, and the National Italian American Foundation.
